Cancellations & Refunds

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for subscriptions purchased on MakeQRCode.ai (operated by BGadi Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd.). It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Refund window: We offer refunds within 3 days of purchase if the service is unsatisfactory and there has been no significant usage. See Eligibility below for details.

1) Cancel anytime

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscription page or by contacting support.
  • When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period (monthly or yearly). No further renewals will be charged.
  • Cancelling does not automatically generate a refund. See the refund rules below.

2) Renewals & auto-billing

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled in advance.
  • Please cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
  • We may email reminders, but delivery is not guaranteed. Keep your renewal date noted in your account.

3) Refund eligibility

  • Refunds are available within 3 days of the original purchase if:
    • the service is unsatisfactory for you, and
    • there has been no significant usage (e.g., excessive dynamic QR creations, high scan activity, or analytics consumption).
  • Refunds are not granted for:
    • misuse or violations of our Terms & Conditions,
    • renewals where the subscription was not cancelled in time,
    • change of mind after significant usage,
    • abuse, fraud, or suspicious activity.
  • Partial/prorated refunds are generally not offered.
  • Taxes/fees charged by your bank or payment processor are typically non-refundable.

4) How to request a refund

  • Email support@makeqrcode.ai within 3 days of purchase with:
    • Your account email
    • Payment reference (Razorpay Order ID / Payment ID)
    • Reason for the request and any screenshots
  • We will review eligibility and respond with a decision or follow-up questions.

5) Refund timelines & method

  • If approved, we’ll initiate the refund to the original payment method. Processing times depend on banks and Razorpay (typically 5–10 business days).
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email once the refund is issued.

6) Chargebacks & disputes

  • If you dispute a payment with your bank (chargeback) before contacting us, your account may be temporarily suspended during investigation.
  • Submitting fraudulent disputes may result in permanent account termination and legal action.

7) Business plans & teams

  • Business pricing is per user (seat). Reducing seats takes effect in the next billing cycle unless otherwise agreed.
  • Refunds for Business plans follow the same 3-day/usage policy and are typically not prorated.

8) Exceptions & special cases

  • Duplicate charges caused by a payment glitch will be refunded once verified.
  • Failed activation: If your account was not upgraded after a confirmed payment and support could not resolve it, we will issue a full refund.
  • Trial downgrades: Free trials auto-downgrade to Free unless you upgrade. No charges apply unless you actively purchase a paid plan.
